I managed to figure out how to upload the web I experimented in via FTP, can't go to the root directory on 1&1. There are 2 domains and I needed to set up 2 seperate FTP accounts to each subdirectory. BUT, no one has offered any reason or help as to WHY installing EW dumped my Frontpage. Microsoft?

Microsoft won't help because they say gateway should help me. THis is ridiulous - tempted to call Gateway's CEO office. I found the directories you suggest - they are there but no files under them. I don't really care about the scanning and realize it may only be in the upgraded vista (ult).
